About This Site

Finding a Shelby County recent arrest or booking photo starts with knowing which official office holds each record. This privately run reference site brings together the Sheriff's inmate roster, archive, records-request routes, court sources, and state or federal custody locators. It does not publish mugshot galleries or rehost booking photos.

Why This Reference Exists

Alabama law allows access to many arrest and booking records, but the right source depends on the person's custody stage. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office creates county jail booking records and operates the photo-bearing inmate roster. Courts document what happens after booking, while the Alabama Department of Corrections covers people currently serving state-prison sentences. Written records requests can reach material that is not posted online. This site organizes those official paths without keeping a photo gallery of its own.

What Readers Can Find

The site separates immediate custody questions from older record and court questions.

  • The Shelby County recent arrests hub, including the full roster, booking-photo, warrants, records-request, and removal-in-law treatment.
  • Distinct same-day, multi-day, and custody-alert pages for different search needs.
  • Clear steps for using the county roster, official archive, and Alabama Department of Corrections search.
  • Records-request guidance for a booking record or photo that is no longer displayed online.

Limits of This Site

This is a private reference site. It is not connected with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Shelby County Jail, the Alabama Department of Corrections, or any other government agency.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for a visitor.
  • We do not provide legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address remains current.

Only the responsible sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department can confirm custody, listed charges, or release. We can identify the proper roster or office, but the official source controls the record.

Independent Search Partners

Some search boxes are supplied by third-party providers that set their own prices and return their own results. If a visitor follows one of those tools and purchases a subscription, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep access free. We do not control a partner's prices, data, or search output.
